After completing Vanquish 4 times on 2 consoles, I am wet for this. Cannot wait. Platinum games making Capcom look boring… again.

For some reason, the design of Sasha keeps reminding me of P.N.03 on the Gamecube. Good times.

Looking forward to watching this title develop, of course. So far Platinum have yet to make a game I didn't thoroughly enjoy so here's hoping they go five for five.

Looks like some well orchestrated anarchy. I love it.

Is the final game going to look anything like the beginning of the trailer, before it showed the gameplay? Because that would be very impressive, and would make the game top notch in the graphics department.

And as for the gameplay, it's developing nicely, but I still think there's still plenty of room for improvment.

I see so much potential in this game, so don't hold nothing back!

At first I thought Sasha was a Bayonetta reference but now thinking about it, she could very well be a reference to Vanessa Z. Schneider from PN 03. It would make the accent make more sense.

Well I can recognize some Vanquish, some Bayonetta, and even some PN 03 in this trailer.

Too bad it's not as original as the previous games, but that doesn't mean this game won't be as good as those! I hope I will enjoy it the same way!

JACK IS BACK. That alone makes me excited for this game.

Platinum Games! do you hear me??? This game is awesome, but… where is Bayonetta 2??? Kamiya! please! where is bayonetta 2? everyday I just look at bayonetta cover and praying for bayonetta 2…

please….please….please!!! come on! everyone is waiting!

CrimsonComedian Posted on March 23, 2011 at 4:19 pm

I don't help people; I kill them. It's cool to see Jack in a non-black and white art style.

AUTO BUY! Platinum games is exactly what the market needs right now. A group who understands their medium and doesn't act like we all want to watch movies instead of playing games.

Could this be the Urban Reign sequel (granted with a dose of Platinum awesome instilled) we've been waiting for since 05?

Rufio Posted on April 12, 2011 at 6:50 pm

i'm still not sold on the multiplayer-focused aspect. Platinum Games (and Clover before that) main strength is story-based games and i think most multiplayer games are generic and get old quick, unless they're a fighting game (and this game is a beat 'em up).

Still, Platinum Games have yet to let me down. I have faith this will be awesome

Spare no expense! You are on the verge of truly excellent release. So far it looks really sexy. Marketing is paramount, second only to quality of the game in overall success and notoriety. I am curious to see how you intend to implement the combat system…request from a gamer 1st/developer 2nd….please make it deliciously interactive. Also I see you are putting most of your focus on publicizing the multi-player aspect. It is a remarkable innovation to include multi-player in this style game but DO NOT sacrifice too much from coop/campaign mode. e.g. limit campaign mode to two characters? (Leo and Jack?? No Zero? No Sasha? FAIL. G4 will agree with me I guarantee it) Unless you have negotiated a source of revenue for generating online activity PLEASE DO NOT STRIP DOWN THE CAMPAIGN MODE. Gamers have been waiting for a game like this forever please don't screw it up. We can wait a little longer for quality… make it difficult and the layouts different and engaging and we will LOVE you for it. Thats my 2 cents.
