THIS IS SO INCREDIBLY AWESOME! IT'S BEYOND DESCRIBING IN WORDS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE FAST FRENETIC ACTION, WITH HEAVY JAPANESE STYLIZATION. TWO QUESTIONS: WHAT ENGINE IS THIS (BAYONETTA TECH)? & IS IT 60 FPS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE IN-ENGINE FOOTAGE. I HOPE ALL THE CUTSCENES ARE IN-GAME (NO CG PLEASE). I SIMPLY CAN'T WAIT FOR PLATINUM'S NEXT MASTERPIECE…..

I'M LOVING THE JAPANESE VANQUISH SITE…

Friendly competition!!!…..Gears borrowed the "behind the back-over the shoulder" view shift when you aim ala RE4…..time to show them if you want a third person shooter then here is a third person shooter!!!

lol…….nah much love to Epic.

Viva Vanquish!!!

Looks pretty cool. I don't yet see a huge amount of innovation compared to other action futuristic military shooters, BUT since it's Shinji Mikami I know I'll be eating those words soon enough.

another thing: why is the aspect ratio off?

PlatinumGames Posted on June 8, 2010 at 11:31 pm

@Funkamatic – Thanks for noting the aspect ratio issue. It has been corrected.

Freaking Awesome!!

I'm Really looking forward to seeing you guys at E3!

Looks like fun – I look forward to seeing more on this one.

THAT– WAS– COOL!!!!!

Sam-I-Am Posted on June 8, 2010 at 4:40 pm

Why San Fransisico? You'd think the Russians would have attacked somewhere more important. But, ignoring that, this is totally badass, especially the scene where he grabs the missile and shoves it back down the robot's missile launcher hole.

Stop this from happening.

60Hertz Posted on June 9, 2010 at 3:53 pm

Looking great… i'm loving the mixture of what looks to be deep hand to hand combat with run/gun/cover… i saw some other gamplay moveis that display more of this and i must say i'm salivating! Hopefully i'll get my paws all on this at E3!

60Hertz Posted on June 9, 2010 at 3:55 pm

Mecha transforming into a helicopter FTW!

Ujn Hunter Posted on June 11, 2010 at 4:48 pm

ISIS Posted on June 17, 2010 at 1:45 pm

This game is unbelievable.. TOTALLY AWESOME!

60Hertz Posted on June 18, 2010 at 3:16 pm

I got a chance to play this at e3 and boy it is solid. Moving the player felt and looked really great. The ARS system was fun as well, i sucked at the game though! I should've used the ARS more. The boss fight was epic as well, the QTE portion for some reason didn't feel derivative and it WASNT a finisher, as the boss still had more tricks up it sleeve, it seemed to be the halfway point. There is one point where he shoots out TONS of missiles, a great visual and an opportune time to use ARS. Anyway, i look forward to playing the full version but hopefully a demo drops soon!!!!

Neurale Obutale Posted on June 22, 2010 at 4:01 pm

It would be great if we got a downloadable version of the demo you guys had at E3. I'm looking forward to this game more than any other game this year. If not a downloadable demo, then please release a full resolution video of someone playing the game properly. (Maybe someone on the development team?)

More Bayonetta, less generic FPS games, please..

Ujn Hunter Posted on July 21, 2010 at 6:49 am

@Reiji Boo! Go back to your cave. This isn't even a FPS (First Person Shooter) let along generic.
