New Year’s Greetings and Bayonetta’s Western Release

Hi all. Producer Yusuke Hashimoto checking in again.

Happy New Year!

I decided to draw Bayonetta on a New Year’s Card. The more I drew, the more I was surprised by how detailed the design was becoming, and even though it was too late, ended up saying “Wow, this is how this turned out…”

Today also marks the start of Bayonetta’s worldwide release!

I am happy to see her spread her wings and fly overseas, and I really hope that everyone let’s go of time and has fun while playing the game.

So I hope that this year you all support Bayonetta, and continuing supporting us here at PlatinumGames.

I look forward to seeing other future titles that feature the same amount of dedication and support!

Now, I must go and play Bayonetta like mad.

Woo. Well Im glad that I was finally able to play Bayonetta earlier and it really is tons of fun. Not just the gameplay, the cutscenes are really fun to watch. Well done PlatinumGames- you have my support. I look forward to future games from you guys.

Just bought BAYONETTA today. My mind is officially blown! The game is from a higher plane of reality. Everyone should go read Dave Halverson's review on the PLAY website. His words are perfect. Support true Japanese gaming, support Platinum*, & support Bayonetta! Can't wait to see Mikami'-san's title & what Team Little Angels' is going to bless us with next. I bow humbly to P*, the gods of game design.

This is the best game Sega have released in years! I absolutely love the nods to older titles – the Space Harrier level was just utterly brilliant.

I like your game but there are some things in it that are where questionable when i comes to my faith. In the game why is the only things she kills angles? This gives the game a very satanic feel
